Notes: Please uninstall any older versions before installing the newer version. Choose 1 of the 2 download sites. Simtel is used as backup, in case the TPG link goes down. The faster your computer or processor the better. Tests show that anything less than 400Mhz and Parental Filter starts failing and redirections become over delayed. You are welcome to test it on older computers and tell us what happens. If you are satisfied with the results then you are free to use it. Memory requirements are about 64 Megabytes which is standard for today's computing. Parental Filter requires about 10 megabytes hard-disk space. A standard system today should exceed 500 Megabytes. Anything less than Windows XP or Windows 2000 Server is not really recommended, with Windows 98 possibly barely sneaking in. You are welcome to try and use Parental Filter on the older Windows versions and a level of support will still be provided. If you are running Windows 98 Operating System or Windows NT Operating System, the installation is now equipped with additional screens allowing you to update more easily.
