Redirection Pages - Many Redirections

When a website is blocked, a redirection to another website usually occurs. Parental Filter allows multiple redirection sites, one is randonly chosen from a list of many.

Do Not Refer Just Clear Address Bar

When this checkbox is selected no redirection occurs, instead when a website is found to be banned the Internet Explorer address bar, that is where you type web addresses is quickly erased allowing you to proceed without waiting for redirect pages to load.

Add a new redirection site

You can add a new site to redirect to when a website is banned. This will allow you to choose you favourite websites. Clicking on the Add button brings up the following display.

Enter a new website name in the textbox, the URL must be active that is you must be able to reach the website from Internet Explorer or another Internet browsing software. The correct format is http://www.myfavourite.com, exchange myfavourite with your own favourite such as http://www.yahoo.com. After this click the add button, the website is now ready to use. So when a website is blocked the page you will see is http://www.yourfavourite.com.

Remove a redirection site

You can remove a redirection site simple by clicking the website address you want to remove and then clicking the remove button. You will not see the website in the listbox and know it has been removed.

You can add and remove website as you please, when you remove all the website the Do Not Refer Just Clear Address Bar checkbox become automatically selected or checked. This ensures one option is always selected.
