 +====== A Model Of The Mind ======

 +[[:the_cult_of_pythagoras]]
 +
 +However real it all seems the brain is an electrical network, one develops and activates these networks. When we activate these networks they grow stronger, when we do not activate these networks they recede. A network cannot be deleted but it can be bypassed, bridged, new pathways made. When we have new experiences new networks begin to develop.
 +
 +The brain has a management system, imagine the brain as a computer where their is a library of information, the memory application. When we do things we ask the librarian to get a file and open it for some activity. Ideally when we finish the activity we allow the brains management system to close the file and release the file pointer. If we do not open it again for some time the brain will archive it and we forget it.
 +
 +Imagine a point of reference, our attention is allocated to the file and with the way life is one can get stuck on a file. We can therefore close all the files update the reference pointer, perhaps set it to the universal reference, or the global reference.
 +
 +The global reference is the real time transmission, the inputs, our senses take in real time information, they do not employ the memory application. When we do an activity, we cannot hold files open because attention must be devoted to the activity, some boxers become preoccupied with their love lives and it hurts their ability to devote all their attention. A pointer in a file.
 +
 +Computers have an open file limit, the brains open file limit is 31 and if you open more than that your brain will complain and forcedly begin to close files. If a file remains open for an unusual amount of time it can become toxic, even feedback on itself. Do not be lax and make a psychological connection with things as an after thought, one must stay certain that toxic connections are not registered in the mind even though they may happen in real life. Bad experiences are not easily forgotten.
 +
 +Garbage collection, information that is deemed unimportant is discarded by the automatic management system before it commits to memory.
 +
 +Their are other facilities of the brain related to the autonomic nervous system. It is deceptive to understand oneself from oneself and it is fallacy.
 +
 +A example circuit is the Paramecium and the mechanics of its movement. Their are no pictures, no sounds only electric activation.
 +===== Special Features =====
 +
 +Special features refer to extra abilities of the mind currently not registered with science. Let general social standards decide if special features are acceptable otherwise risk social ostracism which can lead to death. An example of special features include e.s.p. Probably best to let it go unless you have a doctorate in the field and you should not bring forth special features.
 +
 +===== R-Complex Overlay =====
 +
 +Through emotions the mind can come under control unrationaly. If a situation causes fear or pain then the situation is avoided in future automatically, this can then be artificially inflicted. This kind of fragile area of the mind seems to formulate an subjective overlay onto reality, one registers more of what he believes rather anything real, good luck, bad luck. This is not a trivial situation, it is apparent through the evolutionary development of the brain and what is indeed actual remains unknown, the electrical algorithms that build the intelligence or its basis are beyond our daily perception.
 +===== Confusion =====
 +
 +Television is a distortion of reality, believing in reality that is simply not there but act as if it is. Their may be some evidence that excess electrical activity especially at night confuses the mind, similar to birds and whales that lose direction because they are confused.
