Anthony (Tony) Carmen Ganino died Aug. 31, 2011, in Moab, Utah, from cancer. He was born to Rosario Aloysious Ganino and Edna Jean Millius Ganino on March 30, 1954, in Maryville Tenn.

Anthony graduated from Emery High School in 1972. He was a carpenter and worked construction throughout his life.

He loved to gamble and travel and was an excellent artist. He was always smiling and very content with just the basics. He was a gypsy at heart.

He is survived by his son, Cody (Jessica) Briggs of Chico Calif.; daughter, Melissa (Jess) McKimmey, Moab; siblings, Rusty Ganino of Rawlins, Wyo., Maria (Joe) West of Moab, Joey Ganino of Idaho Springs, Idaho, Danny (Kate) Ganino of Moab, Susan (Ervin) Feichko of Huntington; sister-in-law, Kathy Ganino of Huntington; and very special friend, Norma Larabee, of Moab.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Darwin Jensen; brother, Bruno Ganino; and one nephew, Brandon Curtis.

A memorial will be held in his honor at a later date in Moab.
