Bruno A. Ganino

HUNTINGTON - Bruno A. Ganino, age 57, passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, surrrounded by his loving family at the University of Utah hospital in Salt Lake City following a long battle with lung disease.

He was born in Pittsfield, Mass., on April 28, 1951 to Rosario and Edna Jean (Millius) Ganino.

Bruno was honorably discharged after serving four years in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam veteran.

Bruno made his home and raised his family in Huntington, where he retired after 30 years in the coal industry.

His passion in life was loving his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kathy; children Steven, Kelli and Angie, all of Huntington; brothers and sisters, Rosario Ganino, Rawlings, Wyo.; Tony (Norma) Ganino, Moab; Maria (Joe) West, Moab, Utah, Joey Ganino, Round Mountain, Nev., Danny (Eileen) Ganino, Moab, Susan (Ervin) Feichko, Huntington; Blondie Ganino, Moab ; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncles and aunts.

A viewing will be Friday, Nov. 7, at 11:30 a.m. at the Huntington LDS Stake Center. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. at the Huntington City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell's Funeral Home of Price.
