Un San Giga
Sumerians referred to themselves as ùĝ saĝ gíg-ga, phonetically uŋ saŋ giga, literally meaning “the black-headed people”. They build the some of the first proto-cities in their land as ki-en-gi(-r) ('place' + 'lords' + 'noble'). The name refers to shaving their heads as a religious rite.
